The international offices for InterPlay are located in Oakland, CA. In 2000, Body Wisdom, Inc., the non-profit organization that encompasses all InterPlay activities, bought a building in downtown Oakland, which has reshaped extensively to create a center for InterPlay. The renovation included the dance space shown below with a 36' x 36' sprung-wood floor and 16 foot ceilings (shown below in before and after photos).

This was an effort that was made possible by the generous help of many InterPlayers from around the world who contributed time, effort, support, and money!

The building also houses five apartments and Body Wisdom, Inc. office space.

The building is at the corner of 23rd and Telegraph, just a few blocks from the 19th Street Bart Station, and just one block north of West Grand Avenue.

We celebrated the completion of the dance space on Saturday & Sunday, February 28 & 29, 2004, with a day of play and an exuberant open house. InterPlayers came from afar: Rod Pattenden (Australia), Tom Henderson & Ginny Going (North Carolina), Johannas Asmussen Jordan (Minnesota), Krista Gemmel Harris (Seattle), Sheila Collins (Texas) and Janie Oakes (Santa Fe).
